Porter Robinson, Rezz, Griz Headline Okeechobee 2022

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Oeechobee music festival is set to return to Sunshine Grove in Florida on March 3-6, 2022. Featuring transformative art experiences with one-of-a-kind light shows, healing sanctuary, yoga, and pop-up shows, Oeechobee is where you can immerse yourself in nature, music, and tranquility.

Insomniac is pulling no punches this year as evidenced by the stacked lineup of heavy-hitters like Rezz, Porter Robinson, GRiZ, Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion. Artists that are joining the headliners include TroyBoi, Flying Lotus, The Glitch Mob, Four Tet, Of The Trees, CloZee, Elderbrook and you name it! Insomniac also revealed there will be a superstar mashup featuring special guests whose identities are not yet known.

Rezz

Known as a highly regarded artist of downtempo soundscapes, Rezz is a rising Canadian producer that places her focus on bass-heavy music with minimal tech compositions. Her visuals are often thought-provoking and futuristic which resonates with her nickname “Space Mom”. In 2016, Rezz released her claim to fame ‘The Silence is Deafening’ EP on deadmau5’s mau5trap imprint, which launched her into the upper echelons of the electronic music scene. Her popular songs include “Edge”, “Hypnocurrency”, “Menace”, “Someone Else”, “Taste of You”, and more.

Porter Robinson

Originally from Atlanta, Porter Robinson rose to stardom as a teenage EDM artist even before his style morphed into an introspective and futuristic form of electropop. He earned a Grammy nomination for “Ghost Voices”, a song he released under his trance alias Virtual Self. Porter Robinson was influenced by the sound of video games at the age of 12 and began to emulate these soundtracks. It’s no wonder his music and video content are often reminiscent of futuristic video games and anime. His popular songs include “Angel Voices”, “Particle Arts”, “Sad Machine”, “Language”, “Easy”.

GRiZ

The North Detroit-raised producer GRiZ is known as “Good Vibes Rainbow Boy” with his fun-loving and positive vibe that is manifested in his unmistakable music creation. As a talented multi-instrumentalist, he’s known for incorporating firey live saxophone, booming dubstep bass, and elements of jazz, hip hop, or even soul in his electronic music creations. Some of his popular bangers include “Griztronics”, “Vibe Check”, “Can’t Hold Me Down”, “Smash the Funk”, “Astro Funk”, “Medusa” and “Feel it All”, etc.
